Let the conductor know you want to get off the train and enjoy a picnic at Groff’s Grove. You can bring your own food or purchase a Boxed Lunch (see description below) at our Sweet & Treat Shop.

Also at the East Strasburg Station, you’ll find a shop full of goodies you just can’t pass up. We feature our own homemade butter fudge and plenty of snacks, as well as PA Dutch jams and jellies. Our made-from-scratch Shoo-Fly Pie is among the best in Lancaster County. Take a whole pie home with you.

Boxed Lunch: $6.49 + tax - Ham, Turkey or Beef Sandwich (add .20 for cheese), Applesauce and Chips or Chocolate Chip Cookie, Small Hug Drink (red, blue, green or orange), or we can charge the difference for other drink. Put your selection together in the Sweet & Treat Shop, and we’ll box it with plastic-ware, straw and napkin. Boxed Lunches may be taken on the train except where food is served.

Trackside Café

Stop in the Trackside Café and enjoy meals, salads, sandwiches, ice cream, drinks and Lancaster County favorites. We prepare our food on-site using a number of specialty recipes. Enjoy home-cooked food at family prices.
