Christmastime Dinner Train Ride

Join Santa for an unforgettable train ride aboard the Santa Paradise Express!  You’ll also enjoy freshly prepared food on board the train.

And don’t miss Mrs. Claus who will be available at the station from 12-4 p.m. to help children finalize their letters to Santa! Bring a self-addressed, stamped, unsealed envelope and we’ll make sure Santa mails a personal reply to each boy and girl on his list. Additionally, visitors of all ages will be charmed as they enjoy storybook readings of holiday classics in the Mrs. Claus area.

As COVID cases are on the rise, the Strasburg Rail Road wishes to ensure the health and safety of our Team Members and Guests.

– We ask that unvaccinated Guests wear a face mask for the duration of their visit to the Strasburg Rail Road. Guests who are fully vaccinated are urged to wear a face mask when aboard the train or when visiting our retail shops and Café 1832.
– Face masks may be removed when eating or drinking.

Thank you for helping to keep the Strasburg Rail Road a safe place to visit!

Our Dining Car

“Lee E. Brenner” No. 93

The Lee E. Brenner Dining Car — America’s oldest operating all-wood dining railcar — recreates the traditional dining experience you would have experienced aboard an early 20th-century railroad. During the Edwardian-era, dining on the rails was quite sophisticated. What now serves as Strasburg Rail Road’s dining car was built by the Laconia Car Company in 1926 and ran on the Boston & Maine Railroad until 1972. After its retirement in 1972, it arrived at the Strasburg Rail Road. It was rebuilt in 1993 and renamed for Strasburg’s second president, Lee E. Brenner.

Meal and gratuity included: Guests must select a meal choice at the time of booking.
