Take a ride aboard Strasburg Rail Road’s Caboose No. 12. Built in 1925, this cozy accommodation provides a glimpse of what it may have been like to be a crew member of an early 20th-century steam train. Climb into the cupola seats for a truly unique view of the train. (Note: Cupola seating does require ascending and descending a ladder.)
Here’s your chance to step back in time to the early 20th century and ride the rails of the Strasburg Rail Road — America’s oldest operating railroad — in our historic Caboose No. 12. Available to purchase as an exclusive private charter for you and your family, this is a great way to experience the Strasburg Rail Road in a socially-distant manner.
Your caboose ticket provides you with a 45-minute round trip ride aboard America’s oldest continuously operating railroad, nicknamed the “Road to Paradise.” Enjoy the onboard commentary as you traverse the beautiful Lancaster County countryside.
The one flat charter price includes up to ten (10) people.
