Unwind from the hustle and bustle of the hectic work week with an intimate evening in Lefever Hall with professional and well-renowned live entertainment from Strasburg Rail Road’s Entertainment Department.

On the last Friday of the month from April through August, come to Strasburg Rail Road to relax and enjoy the unique concert series presented by the Strasburg Rail Road’s Entertainment Department. Couples may BYOB and enjoy a complimentary charcuterie board while listening to the soothing songs of the evening’s performer. Don’t miss this unique experience to be up close and personal with some of the region’s top singers/performers…only at the Strasburg Rail Road!

Rylynn Woods graduated from the Institute of American Musical Theatre in New York City and is an experienced musician performing as a wedding singer and venue vocalist in the PA, DE, and MD areas. She can be seen year-round at the Strasburg Rail Road in multiple musical revues, particularly as diva songstress Lorelei DeVine. Bryan Connolly is a drummer and educator based in Philadelphia. He was born and raised in Richmond, VA, and was exposed to a wide variety of music from a young age. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University. Bryan enjoys performing a variety of musical styles including R&B, jazz, rock, and pop. He has shared the stage with Virginia music icons Michael Hawkins, Desirée Roots, Tennishu (Butcher Brown), and Jason Jenkins along with Grammy Award-winning musicians jazz pianist Lee Musiker and Afro-Latin percussionist John Santos. He is also a frequent collaborator with singer/actor Scott Wichmann aka Mister Showtime.

Alex Cross is a multi-genre pianist currently based in Philadelphia, PA. Originally from Wallingford, CT, Alex took to music at a young age due to influences from his musical family. He began taking piano lessons at the age of four and has been playing ever since. Inspired by jazz greats Herbie Hancock and Bill Evans (among others), Alex earned a degree in Jazz Piano Performance from Temple University in 2015. Alex has studied privately with Bruce Barth and Thomas Lawton and has had the opportunity to work with incredible artists such as Bianca Ryan, Najwa Parkins, Daud El Bakara, and Brandon Moulden. His most recent album, Aulasy, is currently available on all music streaming platforms.

Alyssa Flowers & Noah Johnson’s Backwoods to Broadway

Alyssa Flowers is a southern gal originally from Louisiana and grew up traveling around the country singing southern gospel music with her family. Her love of music grew into a love of all things musical theatre in middle school – so much so that she decided to get a degree in music in college, and now she has traveled the world performing professionally for the last decade! Some favorite performance credits include performing overseas aboard Norwegian Cruise Line, casting spells at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Orlando, and playing everyone’s favorite blonde, Doralee, in 9 to 5 the Musical in Atlanta. She was most recently seen as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors and the Narrator in Joseph…Dreamcoat at Four Corners Musical Theatre in New Mexico. Alyssa is a full-time performer with the Strasburg Rail Road for the 2024 season. Locally she has performed at at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, Magic and Wonder Dinner Theater, and Third Space Theatre. When she isn’t performing, she runs her own company called “No Sweat Rep” where she is an audition and acting coach. Noah Johnson has been performing since he was 10 years old and is extremely thankful to call the theatre world his career. He has worked for years professionally as a director, playwright, and performer, and is constantly excited for the next adventure. As a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, his training has led him to jobs across the country. Some of his favorite performance credits include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Singin’ in the Rain, A Christmas Carol, and The Addams Family Musical. As a director, Johnson has had the pleasure of working with many outstanding artists. Some of his favorite directing credits include Next to Normal, The Mousetrap, and Mystery on Main. He also had the distinct honor of directing the regional tour of Super: the Musical. As a playwright, his works have been workshopped, read, produced, and performed in various schools and theatres across the country, including Mary Baldwin University as well as The Inkwell Theater in Los Angeles. One of the most fulfilling experiences of his career was having the opportunity to perform beside the likes of Beth Leavel, David Elder, and Emily Skinner in a fundraiser for Niswonger Children’s Hospital. He is a freelance musician who has music directed/conducted and performed at theaters all over Lancaster County including The Fulton Theatre, The Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, Gretna Theatre, and Servant Stage. He can also be seen behind the piano at The Belvedere and Lombardo’s restaurants. Mr. Williams has also music directed/conducted and played piano around the country, including the national tours of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Memphis, and Fiddler on the Roof. Originally from Chicago, he earned his BA in piano performance, and his MM in choral conducting. He would like to thank God for his talent and passion for music.
