Lake will serve as the ghostly host as he guides guests through the weird, eerie, and spooky tales of Lancaster County and its environs.

A nostalgic Christmas tradition for nearly 65 years continues at the historic Strasburg Rail Road! Choose from Santa’s Paradise Express, Night Before Christmas Train, the “Santa Claus Limited”, or the Christmas Feast with Mrs. Claus.

Ride in luxury when you come aboard one of our premium First Class cars pulled by one of our regular excursion trains. Choose from the Parlor Car or either of the two Lounge Cars.

In the railroad industry, the word “hostling” means the process of preparing a steam locomotive for operation. On this tour, guests receive a unique, up-close, and behind-the-scenes view of how a steam locomotive is prepared for the day’s operation. This tour is limited to just 10 people.

April 18 – 20, 2025 – Enjoy a special Easter train ride on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of Easter weekend! The Easter Bunny will be the honorary conductor on the historic steam train rides. In addition to the train ride and mall activities, scheduled “candy drops” for the kids will occur throughout each day. Tickets are selling fast!
