Join Isabel Crane, the great-great-granddaughter of the legendary Ichabod Crane, as she takes you on a frightful journey filled with sword fights, ghosts, and a centuries-old curse surrounding her family.

It seems that not everyone wants the truth to come out and they’ll go to any length necessary to keep their haunted past a secret. With grand special effects, live horses, and the scariest train ride of the season, you can’t miss your chance to learn, hear, and experience the Legacy of Sleepy Hollow, only aboard the historic Strasburg Rail Road.

The show features a professional cast of actors who have performed around the world with companies such as Royal Caribbean Cruises, Broadway Asia, Celebrity Cruises, and Live Nation Concerts. They’ve also performed locally at Lancaster’s American Music Theatre, Sight & Sound Theatre, Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, and the historic Fulton Theatre.

A pre-boarding act/performance will commence 15 minutes before departure. Please plan to arrive early for check-in and then enjoy the
pre-boarding performance before you embark on a memorable journey!

Please note: Due to the subject matter of this event and its presentation, this event is recommended for ages 8 and older. This show uses fog, strobe lights, and loud music. Parental discretion is advised.

For the Adults – $20 each – Pennsylvania State Sales Tax and Gratuity are included in the price of the meal. Additional non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are available for purchase.

  • Beef and Cheddar Sandwich — Thin slices of seasoned roast beef simmered in Au Jus, served on an Italian roll with cheese wiz and horseradish sauce, served with chips and a fresh-baked cookie.
  • BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwich — Slow-cooked BBQ basted chicken on a fresh Kaiser roll with pickles and thinly sliced red onion, served with chips and a fresh-baked cookie.
  • Chicken Caesar Salad — A classic tossed salad with romaine lettuce, shaved parmesan cheese, and croutons topped with grilled chicken breast, served with chips and a fresh-baked cookie.
  • Hummus Veggie Wrap — Broccoli, kohlrabi, Brussels sprouts, kale, radicchio, carrots, and house-made hummus in a spinach wrap served with chips and a fresh-baked cookie.

What Happens if it Rains? While the Strasburg Rail Road prides itself on running rain or shine, the added component of live horses and a professional cast performing stunts, falls, and actions outside in the elements pose a unique safety hazard during significant inclement weather. We will make every safe and possible effort to perform the event as scheduled. However, if there is significant inclement weather that necessitates the cancelation of the event, we will reach out to you personally and offer you several options including, but not limited to, rescheduling to a later “Sleepy Hollow” event or the issuance of an e-gift card for future ticket purchases.
